I have fallen in love with exercising since my early teenage years. Those days were spent in the basement blasting loud music and adding little by little more weights, equipment and literature to my basement gym. My deep rooted love of exercise led me to graduate from West Liberty State College in Wheeling, WV, with an Exercise Physiology degree in 2003.
I have been a personal trainer for Total Fitness since the fall of 2003. I got my feet wet by teaching classes that I created. Mostly weightlifting circuit classes but there were also AB classes and Group Cycling classes. I later got certified as a Fitness Boxing Instructor teaching group classes the fun of boxing, especially when you’re not getting hit. In 2006, I had the honor of training my boss, Carol, for 4 ½ months to get in shape for her pictures for her 50th birthday. The results were fantastic and her pictures alone drives business my way. I have been apart of 15 weight loss & fitness contests helping 135 gym members’ get healthier, harder, leaner, and stronger bodies.
I have enjoyed personal training and pushing people in their quest for fitness and strength. Anyone who workouts with me knows that they are going to get a very intense workout with new cutting edge lifting techniques to get the most out of your body. I also handle supplement orders for Total Fitness and advise members inquiring what supplements and nutrition would help them reach their goals. I also devour any nutritional nugget that I can get my hands on and I take courses on applying nutrition to get the best performance out you body and help get the body you want.

Kristina is an upbeat person with a passion for health and fitness. Her journey began when she decided to go to the gym and improve her health after a struggle with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. Upon entering the gym she almost turned around to leave because a man was at the counter, but she mustered up the courage and purchased a membership.
Little by little and with great consistency, Kristina worked out. She was very cautious and careful at first, afraid she was going to hurt herself. After time she started attending a few classes and joined some group training sessions with a Personal Trainer. Her health improved and her body began to transform! She went from plump and puny to fit and fine! Her friends, family and gym gurus all commented, telling her how great she looked and encouraged her to keep it up. This became her new lifestyle.
Kristina became a Group Class Instructor in 2012 teaching spin classes and various toning classes. After Kristina became a Personal Trainer, she competed with her first team in the Fall Fat Blast. Her team won the entire competition hands down! She continues to train and inspire all who come to her for training and for classes.
Kristina is very rounded in her pursuits, she teaches the outstanding class Fast and Furious and Spin classes to the younger generation and also accommodates the more mature clientele with her popular Strong Muscles Strong Bones class and Sit and Fit class.
Kristina personally understands the how hard the battle can be, right down to walking through the door of a gym to get started. She hopes she can inspire and motivate those who come to her for help and direction in their fitness journey.
I am an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer and I have been lifting weights since I was a Junior in high school. Weight lifting has made me a better person both physically and mentally.
